9 holes of golf with my grandson
Played with my grandson, course was excellent, staff were friendly. Course yardage is not well marked.
This course is great for average players
Enjoyed playing. This course is very playable for the average/beginner golfer. The greens were fantastic!
this course only good for the Money.
there are Dog in the course.
i do not like dog that is why it was interrupt my game..
Great Value
Great course for beginners, nothing fancy. Very laid back great staff.
No Fairways
Essentially a little pitch & putt with some decent holes. Not sure if it was because of last winter but the Bermuda was not mowed out for fairways. The rough & fairway were the same length, so bomb it down the middle & your always faced with a flyer for your 2nd. Greens were dreadfully slow as was the pace of play due to so many walkers & no one pairing up. Course could really use a starter to pair up groups on busy days. Course maybe worth 10 bucks to hoof it...wouldn't pay much more than that. Good track for players just learning the game.
Everyone was very nice
We were rained out after Nine holes. But it was enough to make us want to go back and do it again.
Carpet Golf
First of all, the Tee boxes, Fairways and Greens where groomed to perfection. It was like stepping on carpet the whole time from tee box to green. This course to local family owned and they maintain the course as they would there own yard.
I would highly recommend this course even only just 9-holes for the experience wide fairways little to no water hazards and little to no elevation changes in playing a game of GOLF.
First Impression
Can't rate the course itself. Completely rained out. The course was closed. But the Manager was exceptional. A really terrific person to deal with in rescheduling a tee time to another date... She was one of the most considerate caring persons I've ever dealt with
Nice course
Have played this course for 40 years and it just keeps getting better. Very crowded Sunday.
Nice course
Nice open course with long professional par 5 holes.
Good course
I enjoyed playing here. It's not a real difficult course as most of the holes are strieght and not really any hazards to speak of with the exception of the 9th. The pace of play was very slow but that is really my only complaint .
Great course to learn on or to continue to hone your skills
This course is wide open. You can scramble to the green with little obstruction. The fairways are not awesome but you will find little weeds. The greens are in great shape but they are long so they play slow. Overall good little course.
Course was great....shouldn't be on Golfnow.com
With their discount and no fees, I paid more than $10 more to play than my friends. Also, how can you have a course on here that doesn't accept tee times??!
Great 9 Hole Course
I love this course! It is a very well maintained course with actual grass in the fairways and not weeds. Greens are in great shape also. Only down side is I bought a coke and it was a little flat. I wish this was a 18 hole course. I will definitely play this course again.
Great course
Great course! Well maintained and in really good condition. It was a pleasure to play.
Best kept secret in Oldham Co.
This may be the nicest 9 hole course around, the fairways are tight, greens have a good roll, and yes that is sand in the bunkers. It has been several years since I have played Sleepy Hollow and it continues to get better with age. You cannot go wrong here, play 18 in three hours, at an enjoyable pace with quiet surroundings and a neat easy to play layout, watch the hidden water on the eighth hole, and if you book on GolfNow the value cannot be beat!
The course is very well kept.
Fairways a little shaggy and greens were in great shape.
Fairways were in good condition. The greens played little slow.
I thought overall that Sleepy Hollow course was very fun and challenging course for first time. I will definitely go back especially to play a nice quick 9 holes.
