Siasconset Golf Course

Nothing really hard here unless you want it to be. Best to use irons and not loose balls. Really a fun course and you get 10th steps in. No real t boxes, like playing golf in 1920. Enjoy it for what it is. If you need shade bring an umbrella.

Sconset is a special treat. Dating to 1894, it retains old school charm while providing a satisfying and available golf experience. Greens and men’s tee boxes are irrigated - not so the “fairways” and ladies’ “tee boxes”. In quotes because they are mostly plopped in the sort of fairways. Rough is punitive, and bring extra balls! Walking only, the course provides ample challenge delivering fun golf by the bucket. Staff is phenomenal and so friendly and helpful. Love it!

A bit breezy early this September but a good time was had by all. It is a bit of a climb from the parking lot to the clubhouse and from the 6th green to the 7th tee with your clubs but it’s worth it

Really fun course with no irrigation except for the greens. It’s the only reasonably priced option in Nantucket. That said, my wife enjoys this more than any other place. It’s hard to score for a good player but very playable for a less accomplished player.

Easy to walk on or reserve. It’s a shorter 9 hole but longer than a 3-par exec course. You can play it twice. Fairways are brown but greens are ok. The cups are not in the best 90° shape but you’re ball will still go in eventually
