Solid Bob Beard Course
I have yet to play a course by Robert Beard that I did not enjoy. Course has just the right amount of length, rolling terrain and challenge to keep one interested. Course is worth the play if in the area.
Beautiful layout
I haven't played it since 1989.
I helped build it. Originally, 120 acres and no driving range. Bent grass greens.
Bluegrass for the rest.
I ran over the first evergreen between hole #1 & #10. It lived! It took duct tape, wire hangers, plant food spikes and Milorganite!
I miss living on the course.
Every golfer should play Cedar Creek!

One bad apple...........
Realy enjoyed the course. Well maintained except around the cup. Looks like they did not change pin positions that day and diameter around each hole was scuffed and many foot prints. Greens ran smoth and tru until you got w/in 2-3 ft. of the hole. Staff inside was very friendly. However, they did not tell us whrn we checked in that there would be leagues later. We ended up between 2 leagues at the turn. Worst part ??? Grumpy old starter who let out an expletive when I told him we were making the turn. And a rather portly league member would not move his cart and we drove around almost onto the tee box to get down thw fairway. Rude. Starter needs a lesson in human relations as he has NO idea how to deal w/ people. Thurs. nite league.
