Spring Fling
Course wintered well. Greens and fairways are in excellent shape especially for late March.
This course is usually in great shape and they have added sand to the traps. Typically slow greens in the spring but they putt well.
Hats off to the maintenance crew course is looking nice!
Early Golf
Great golf course. One of my favorites. However, the course should not have opened. The greens were super slow. There is still a frost layer less than a foot down which does allow proper drainage as it thaws. It makes for spongey fairways and greens.
Course is in top shape
Had great time playing this very well maintained course with top notch customer service in pro shop.
Pace of play was awesome and was able to finish 18 holes in 3:15 min.
Great track
My friend used GolfNow to get a deal on this course and invited me along. I hadnever played it, but it is a hidden gem. Greens were exceptional!! smooth and not areated as of 10/22/24. The layout is great as well. I love the contour of the greens. Not something you see a lot of in public courses in this area
Very Nice! Will definitely be back
Lets start with the course…it is deceptive. What appear to be large, wide landing areas proved to be anything but. A bad hop off the fairway and you are in the heather and are not finding your ball. Having said that it plays fair if you know the yardage through the fairways and how much room you have to work with. The courses main defense is the wind and the incredible contours of the greens. There are no gimme putts here and few straight or flat putts to be found.
I was super impressed with the course and the condition of it from tee to green.
What the place lacks is amenities…No real restaurant and a pretty limited bar and snack selection which weren’t super important to me but might be for others. I came for the course and will definitely be back again.
Good Condition
Course was in good condition. Very easy to lose balls in the heather that lines every hole though.
Never Better
Have been playing this course for more than 20 years and I've never seen it in better condition. Best greens I've putted on this year hands down. Condition, playability and fun factors were all 5 star.
Monday golf
Course was in good condition greens fast but fair.
Got stuck behind a four ball the clearly some of the group should not be playing off the Tees they were.
Pace of play slow to desperate four ball spent ages looking for balls 3 minute PGA rules were out the window.
Made a good day golf into a bad one.
Rural beauty
Hadn’t played this course in about 15 years; then I remembered why I used to make the drive, which is a trek, after about 5 or 6 holes. very enjoyable golf experience- highly recommend it!
