A hot one
95-degrees, very few golfers, like the oncart GPS, although this slowed play when Cary was taken between holes and it was put in crawl mode. While it save course conditions around greens takes a lot of time to get an errant shot. Course layout and conditions were good except for the many ball marks I fixed on the greens. Planes trains automobiles and boats keep one amused.

Awesome course too bad it's closing this fall. I would most definitely play this course every year since I have to come out of town
Good time with son
I think the course was in good shape and layout was a challenge pin some holes. The pace of play left a little to be desired on the back nine. We got stuck behind a fivesome and a foursome that was doing a scramble. I would recommend playing this course to anyone. It's a shame the course won't be open for play next year
Great course, play it while you still can!!
Love this course, it's a shame that this is the last year it will be open. Great piece of land tucked back away from the noise of KZoo. Great layout with some beautiful holes, #16 and #17 are the best holes on the course. Get out now before it's too late!!
Play while you can
Sad to hear this fun course is closing at the end of the season. Always a fun and challenging layout. The conditions are great, a few areas are not perfect but very playable.
The course is beautiful!
We had a great front nine but when we made the turn we had to wait to get started. During the front nine we never saw anyone in front of us and we were making good time it took us three and a half hours to play the back nine. We will return and if it happens again we will ask why they send people off on the back nine when people are making the turn. The people behind us were disappointed too.
Fun course
Took my sons to golf. We had a blast, golfers in front and behind were consistently friendly. Loved the bargain price via GolfNow.
Gonna miss you......
I went and played TC when it opened in 1979 while i was in gobles high school, and many times after that. After i moved to florida in 1986 i would always come to visit family here and while on vacation to the kalamazoo area i would play TC with my father in law. I have many great memories of this course and i was very sad to hear it will close after the 2017 season. I sorta feel like i am losing a member of my family. I know it sounds silly, but its true......I suggest playing here before it closes, its a beautiful clubhouse for a 19th hole beer.....
Always a pleasure.
Whenever I am in the area visiting family I make time to golf here. The course is in great shape and was able to play 36 holes. The staff was polite and professional. The other golfer were also very cordial as I was a single and was allowed to play through. Challenging course and great layout.
Not being from the area, having played the course twice before I would absolutely recommend playing this course to everyone.
Challenging but fun
We used to play league at this course and it was a tough challenge week after week. I much prefer playing it more sporadically. Bring extra balls, though during this last round, mine manged to stay dry. It's a beautiful course!
Great Course
This is a great challenging course. The greens will challenge your putting skills. The course is a good length for us average golfers.
Challenging course
Playing this course for the first time was a challenge requiring the use of all golf clubs in your bag. This is a target course with plenty of water hazards and out of bounds areas. Play was on the slow side with plenty of errant drives hit by other players. I would not recommend for beginners due to number of areas and conditions to place a golfer in trouble. I enjoyed the course and will definitely return.
NICE COURSE!!!!
This was a 3rd course we played on a couples trip to the Kalamazoo area. The weather was perfect...We were warmly greeted by the course staff and told we could start a bit earlier than our scheduled tee time. Who would have thought the kalamazoo area had some decent elevation changes and therefore made for some interesting golf holes. We followed several groups of senior gentlemen. Pace of play was decent and think we finished in a little over 4 hours. The course was in great shape with just some recent "clumping" from mowed grass in some areas.Greens were good and rolled true..medium speed...not super fast but I would consider typical for most public courses. The rough was cut a bit higher and offered a challenge from time to time to find a ball that was only a few feet off the fairway...Would be a nice "visual" course to play when the colors change in the fall..though the falling leaves would make finding golf balls even harder...A must play if you ever find yourself in the Kalamazoo area
While We're Young
I pulled up the course excited to play a round of golf on a beautiful Sunday. Course looked nice lots of rolling hills and sloping greens. Only problem was, I was only able to play 13 holes. It took 3 HR 45 minutes to get through those 13 holes. The course was not even busy, but someone must not have been paying attention to the way the groups were sent off. I had a 10 minute wait before each tee and groups were not following golf etiquette. Very frustrating and wish it could have been a better experience.
Great golf course
Have played a number of courses in Michigan and this was one of the best. Some very interesting holes requiring good shots. Greens are undulating but in excellent condition. Enjoyable day.
Little soft
All the fairways were super soft the greens were cut long and very slow. The course layout was great I just didn't care for the conditions
