fun in the willows
willow creek is always a fun course to play....nice variety of holes...greens in good shape...pace was good....a nice average course in the city
First time playing the course. Staff was so kind! Course was in great shape. Great value for the the money. Only complaint is the layout for decent women players off the women's tees were awkward distances and angles
Swamp and always has been
Even on the hottest of days, the course will never not be a swamp. You lose balls feet off of the fairway because they can’t cut the rough with how wet it is.
Needs rain
Like all the courses in the area. Willow was dry...grass was brown...but greens were in pretty good shape
fun day at willow
in the midst of a drought Willow Golf Course was surprisingly green...some of the tee grounds were pretty dry and beat up but overall the course was in good condition...we were paired with two guys, one was a beginner and the other was trying to give lessons...a bit slow but we finished the round in 3:45
Nice layout
The course is nice to play a little short but good dog legs make it challenging. All in all the course was in good shape don't play after a heavy rain stays wet!
Standing water
My son and I golfed late morning. The driving range was closed due to too much standing water. The course also had a bunch of standing water. It had rained the day before, but not so much as to make the fairways nearly unplayable. The greens were really nice, though, and the course layout was challenging.
Unexpected Fun Course
Speaking with a couple of employees they had some issues with sprinkler system that said the course given that course was in ok shape. The greens were fast and putted true. The people couldn’t have been nicer.
pleasent suprise
course is in the best condition ever. lots of work to remove wet areas on the back nine is starting to pay off. removal of a couple of trees made the round even more enjoyable. hats off to the greens-keeper and crew, greens were some of the best that i have seen lately
Well worth it
Drove from Owatonna and well worth the drive for price and course in great condition and challenging will be back many times
