Called the course once I made my golf now, because I wanted to add a person that wanted to play. When I called, I wasn’t even in the system, so I cancelled it and haven’t gotten any credit, an email or anything. Don’t forget one word Jim at the front counter who answered the phone.
Good course for the money
The proximity and the price per round I can get on the hot deals. I can’t bet it! Really a fun course for the price.
First timer
The course is in really nice condition (Bogey golfer here) Its alot more narrow then I'm used to, but there is no negative about this course. If they had GPS (again, first timer here) that would help w cutting angles and the dog legs.
You get what you pay for
Booked online because of the inexpensive course. Left after 9 holes due to the wait to tee off on back 9 .
No Rain Check
Had played 6 holes and it started to downpour. Asked for a raincheck for 9 holes, which I felt was reasonable, and was told since it was booked through golf now they "couldn't" give a rain check. Common sense would suggest that's the right thing to do but nope. Very quirky course, trees in the middle of fairways, etc. Disappointed the staff couldn't use their heads a little more though.
It gets better each year
One of the nice things about Timber Creek is that they are working to make the course better. The improvements are visible. As a repeat customer, this is very encouraging.
Windy day on the rock
First round out this year, so scoring was not important. That was good as the wind made scoring difficult. Also the greens and areas around the greens were very hard. To get a ball to stop on the green, you had to bounce the ball in front of most greens. Not all but most of the greens. With the greens that hard, they rolled real well and were reasonably fast for the time of year. The course value was good and the service was very good and friendly. I will definitely will return.
