Great course layout with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good hotels and great food nearby. Fantastic place for stay and play. Will be returning!
Beautiful day, Great Course
Best day of the year and Bent Creek shined. We had heard the course wasn't as good as it once was and was apprehensive about playing there again.. Wow was it worth it, the fairways were perfect and the greens as true and pure as any I have played in a while.. We also had a great lunch and were treated like members by everyone.. I'd highly recommend Bent Creek for your next outing
What happened to this course.
This golf course has really gone downhill in the past couple of years. Half of the ball washers were broken and the other half were dry. The greens were in bad shape and it doesn’t seem like they mow at all anymore. If you hit your ball a foot out of bounds you won’t find it because of the weeds. Used to have nice looking flower beds and plants but not anymore because of all the weeds that have takin over. Bunkers were in bad shape as well.

Good course, can be better
We played this course for the first time this past weekend. Enjoyed the layout, pro shop and snack shop. Fairways were in great shape, rough was a little too thick IMO. Tee boxes were good, some could use a second pass with the mower. Greens were in decent shape but did have a very patchy appearance. Mostly didnt impact the roll but we did have to adjust a few times to get a clean roll. Heard that it was a water issue that is getting better. Bunkers were 50/50, we had to play out of a few that were not worked in a few days. We would go back again.

Nothing like it used to be!!
This course as REALLY fallen off the last few years!! The bunkers are TERRIBLE and that is being nice! Rough and fairways are not being maintained as they should be.. The local municipal course is in MUCH better condition. Not worth the money!

Disappointing
This course has dropped off considerably in the last 5 years. What use to be the best local course has quickly become the worst local course. Used to be the only course I’d play, now I’d rather play anywhere else.

Enjoyable Outing
Quite an enjoyable outing, whether for recreation or competition, this is my favorite course to play locally. I also noticed several travel groups selecting the “Stay and Play” option.
Greens are in great shape rolling very well with fairways uniformly clipped and neat. You will also find a selection of well maintained tee boxes for a variety of skill levels.
On and off the course there is a youthful, energetic and courteous staff.
As a beginner, I’m appreciative of a course design that is not tightly bunched nor fairways that double back close beside each other.
Go for a visit and tee it up!

Bent Creek, Jackson, MO
The staff “Owner” was very rude and definitely not customer friendly. Made remarks toward myself for using golf now and losing 30% revenue. Our tee time was at 10:30 and the two people that had 10:20 tee times were going to let us go first. However, the owner walked out and made the remarks above about golf now. So, needless to say I will probably not used this golf course again.
Hi Renner, yours was one of two Hot Deal twosomes booked at 10:30am on Saturday. We don't allow groups to jump ahead on the tee sheet regardless of arrival time, so you were given specific instructions not to tee off before the 10:20am group. You proceeded to the first tee regardless, so I came out to maintain order. I'm sorry to see this so clearly affected your enjoyment of the round, but I hope you can understand that I have to protect the interests of hundreds of other golfers and can't allow groups to tee off willy-nilly.
The course is ready
The fairways and greens are in great shape and ready to play. Putting was consistent and just challenging enough. Love this course.

Just keeps getting worse
Bunkers are rock and mud, the golf course in general is not taken care of, i know its early in the year, but every year it just keeps getting worse, used to be the best course around , its definitely not worth the money anymore .

Need to mark T-boxes
The cours wasn’t in too bad of shape, bunkers needed some work but it looked like they were working on them. Also, none of the boxes were marked and they didn’t tell us that they had changed the front9 to the back 9 and vise versa.
Course was ok
The course was ok but since the last time we played they have reversed the layout. We where not told this so we started the round on the back 9 instead of the front.
Getting Better
Greens and fairways are always in good shape, looks like they decided to eliminate a few sand bunkers. I think they are turning a corner

Still early in the season so grass had mo chance yet to grow
Sand bunkers are not good at all mo use to play out of them
