Hillcrest GC
Excellent round at Hillcrest yesterday! Course and greens are in superb condition and look forward to playing again!

The golf course is in really good shape. The greens in fairways are extremely good for Kansas City. Are used to be a country club now public golf course. It’s definitely A good track.
Weekend Golf Trip
The course is beautifully laid out. The greens were receptive and had good speed. The course needs some TLC. Enjoyed playing the course.
Water Main Break
This is one of my favorite courses. However, the course was in horrible condition due to a previous Watermain break. The staff were great, and very apologetic. Seems to me that there are to be an ability to include information to this effect when making tee times on the golfnow site.
Great improvements in fairways since initial visit
The course was in great shape, a few fairways still being filled out but MUCH better than last time we played. Moved up to whites this time and had much more fun, blues were pretty challenging last time.

Course and facilities in terrible condition
It is unbelievable how bad of shape this course is in. The fairways are dead and many sand traps are completely full of bees. How they can charge $56 is a travesty. We chose this because early tee times were available and the course was empty but now we see why. We deserve a refund and Golfnow should completely drop this course.
Tough but great layout/course but lots of fairway issues
Loved the course and can see they are working on it but fairways were very bare and overall was tough to find many areas that were not in bad shape. Greens were perfect however so if they can fix that this course is very worth trying again.
SLOW and Burnt
This has always typically been a nice, challenging course. The new Billie bunkers are a bonus. The rates were discounted because several fairways are burnt out pretty severely. They were honest about that up front. We got to tee off earlier than our tee time, which was great. Pace of play for the first nine was fantastic. However, on the back, we ran into a majorly slow foursome in front. It was awful. We waited on every shot; add that to many of the holes being cart-path only and my cousin and I couldn't wait to be done with the rounds.

Greens in fair condition, fairways & tee boxes were in bad shape. Most tee boxes had hardly any grass & fairways were spotty at best.
Loved it!
Very nice course. Very clean and well maintained. Really awed by cleanliness and rolling hills and plenty of flat ground too. Hundreds of shade trees were nice to have on the warm day I played. Won’t hesitate to play again.
