Hidden gem in the KC area
Definitely worth the drive, what a wonderful course. Reminds me of our small town courses up in WI-tight fairways, fast greens & cheap drinks. Will definitely be back!
First Timer
Course was a challenge, as the layout didn’t let you see some flags or hazards. And the side-to-side slopes of the fairways made it difficult to stay with a draw.
That being said, I enjoyed the round. Fairways played beautifully, and the rough was penal in some areas, as it should. Trees were sometimes a pitch to the fairway just to save a stroke!
Greens rolled nicely, but you’d better be below the hole on some of them. Kinda fast, which I enjoy. The tee boxes were small, and sometimes the choice was not optimal.
I’d definitely play again!!
It's a gem
Loved everything about this course. The greens were immaculate and the staff was very friendly and helpful. THE ONLY criticism I have is outdated golf carts, but they move forward and it isn't cart path only so what's not to like? Overall, I cannot wait to get back put here and play again.
Good friendly course!
Had a great time at this course for the first time... only problem was there were no golf carts for the round. Staff stated more carts were taken than they imagined earlier in the morning and players were also taking 5+ hours on rounds. Waited 1 1/2 hours for a cart. Still a great course and very fun!
Excellent as usual
Busier today than the past few times perhaps because the weather was so perfect. Only glitch was a 4 some that was causing a backup on the 10th green as well as 2 singles also in succession who I assume wanted to play alone. We jumped ahead then came back and finished the last two holes after. The leaves are really starting to turn color and the views alone are worth the green fees. Leaves were being leaves, but the super had someone blowing them out of the fairways.
Always worth the drive
Course was moderately busy but had no issue getting around without any delays. I live 25 miles away but would love to become a member.
Good course lay out, narrow fairways challenging but pace of play of other was very slow
Neat course
Front nine very old school, cool very undulating fairways. Lots of mature trees. Heat has been a little tough on the greens, they are quick though and roll pretty true. Back nine seems like it’s probably not as old, a little more lush and more elevation changes. Great value at $30
The course has become overpriced. Charging $49 on a weekday. Uneven tee boxes. Weeds all over fairways. Terrible erosion. No control of carts around green complexes. Very poor condions...
