Greens are in excellent condition
Fairways to a lot of help. Other than that great course .
Do not play here
This course is worth about $5 to play with a cart. The Tee boxes are dirt and the fairways are half dirt half burnt up grass.I am not even going to comment on the greens . Do not waste your time and money here its a shame because if they put money into it there is a ton of potential with the layout.
Course has a great layout
The course layout is great. Fairways and tee boxes need a lot of work. Greens are okay but have areas that need attention. On the positive side it appears that the drainage problems have been resolved.
End of winter golf
Fairways grass is dormient and somewhat bare. Greens moderate to fast.
No Positive Changes
I haven't played this course in 4 years, was hoping it would have gotten better conditions wise and it hasn't. Most fairways are drab and have 40-50% of the grass missing. Looks as if it hasn't been reseeded in years. I was on a great pace until the local high school showed up and walked all over the course not paying mind to any paying customers and whoever else was on the course. They were taking 8-10 shots a piece with groups of 5-6 players, I went from spending an average of 8-10 mins per hole to 15-20 mins in waiting just to tee off on each hole. High school players were rude and unaccommodating even after the course employee told me they have to let paying customers play through.
Course was understandably dormant considering its February and yet the groundskeeper made it a point to drive down the middle of the fairway and yell at our foursome to stay on the cart path on a hole that didn't even have a cart path.
Course looks the same since the end of the 2024 season. Zero care for the tee boxes or greens in the offseason. Flag sticks literally have duct tape at the bottom to keep them together. Hopefully they put forth the effort to address these issues if they expect players to pay at these rates. The course has a lot of potential but needs some serious TLC
Tough winter
Winters been tough on all of us. Especially the public golf courses, and Cedar Creeks no accepting. But for the value of the Golf Now app, and it being mid week, it serves its purpose. Sometimes just getting out is a cure for the winter blues. It's the usual at Cedar Creek. Tee boxes are beat up. Large parts of some holes fairways are dirt. The greens have been air rated a few too many times. But w all that being said. If your a O.County resident, and a senior. You can't beat the price. Get out and play.
