Great for beginners and experienced alike
This course has lots of twists and turns for the experienced player, and short enough to keep the beginner focused. I like the short par fours and long par 3s. Good for course management or for the big ego that wants to hit a par 4 off the tee. Excellent pro on hand for lessons at reasonable cost. Lessons may include spots at range, around. Greens, or a walkabout. No pressure at this place and no one giving you the highbrow country club look over. Beautiful, bucolic piece of land.
Lack of maintenance
I have been curious about this course for years just because I live fairly close by. I already knew it was an executive course with mostly par 3s, so that did not impact my review rating.
I will not return to this course simply because it was in such terrible shape. The tee boxes were horrible, with very little grass and a lot of mud or clover. The fairways were soaking wet (there was a light rain the day before so I would have understood mildly damp fairways, but there was standing water all over the place so obviously the course does not drain well).
The only positive about the course was that the pace of play was lightning fast because there was almost nobody there.
Good course for short game
This was the first time for me at the golf course and I had no idea what type of course it was. I started playing again 4 months ago after a 13 year hiatus. This was a fairly easy course with mostly par 3's and an excellent opportunity to utilize my irons. In fact, I only used my drivers twice on the entire course. I will say that due to the season the leaves seemed to conceal a lot of my balls which caused me to use several balls to complete the course. Overall, a very good experience!
Don't waste your time
Unless you want to play chip and putt don't waste your time at the course. Only two holes on the entire course I used a driver. The rest were a sand wedge or 7,8 iron. Waste of time for the money! Nobody on the course, so the pace of play was great!
Practice course
Good course for practicing your 8 to all your wedge irons. Some greens are in bad shape. No fairways basically all rough. Tee boxes are fair. Short course for time wise, can finish in two and a half hours.

good course practice and value
good course for practice, pace of play was good can be a little . Overall very nice experience.
You get exactly what you pay for.
Average to below course conditions. About 8-9 par 3's. Two of which, can't be much longer than 50 yards. A couple par 4's at 200 yards or under. A fast playing course. In and out in under 2 hours. Staff is extremely friendly. It wouldn't be my first choice, definitely not my last choice.
Still the best value around!
Tony, Pam, Joe, Brian and everyone else up there are fantastic folks. Always feel welcome!
extremely short
there are approx. 12 par 3's at this course. if you're looking to hit a big club, this isn't this place. a par 5 is 481 yards if you're playing from the middle tees. the fairways are tight.
Friendly Course
A short, friendly course. Good for the beginner or senior. A short course with a lot of par 3 holes.
The greens are very slow and my only criticism.
Like Playing in your backyard, but worse
The fairways, I use that term loosely, are in worse condition than my yard that hasn't been mowed in a week. It's nearly impossible to tell where the rough starts and fairway begins. Greens are patchy and have what looks to be attempted repairs to the sod. Bunkers are missing sand. All this for 2/3 the price of a normal course. Keep in mind the length of the course is only about 2/3 that of a normal course as well.
Poor Course Conditions
This course is a "small" par three layout. Very narrow fairways and tree over hangs makes it difficult to even attempt to reach 200-250 yard holes. About half the holes are less than 100 yds.
Most of the tee boxes were just dirt. Fairways and greens not much better.
Real bad shape
Greens were mostly sand. Course needs major help. Played earlier this year not too bad. Conditions are terrible.
Disrepair
I have played here several months ago and the course was in great shape. This time is was barely playable. Many patches of crab grass throughout the fairways. The greens were bumpy with the cup not cut cleanly on many of the holes.
One green was mostly black and not puttable.
The fairways were not playable like fairways/ they played more like the rough.
The rough grass was higher than reasonable.
Bad etiquette of othe players yelling and carrying on frequently.
Shouldn't a golf course have grass!
Staff was friendly but the course was in awful condition, most holes didn't have any grass. I have played 100's of courses and this was by far the worst condition I have ever experienced. Combination sand traps and water traps, I hit a shot down the middle of the fairway and it would stop in a clump of grass. Maybe 3 out of 18 greens had grass.
Course needs help.
Simply put, this course in bad shape. The tee boxes, the fairways and the greens are all in poor condition and will most likely not recover this year.
Need to Mow
The best thing about this course was it has a lot of par 3's This was good cause, it was helpful for my son to reach the greens. Other then that , it was a awful course.Need to cut the grass. BTW, it's not even grass its like weeds. I never give a course a bad review , but i had no choice with this one.
