Beautiful location in New Jersey and facility. Not my favorite

I have played there many times. It's not my favorite Robert Trent Jones/Roger Rulewich design. But it's still a beautiful course. And terrific facility. Great property. Too many doglegs and the par fives are really three shot par fives. If you drive it through these dog legs it's hard to recover.

A spectacular day of golf

Metedeconk is one of the finest courses I have played. I rank the course with the elite courses in the United States.
The one additional feature is the practice area is the best I have seen -it features a short game area where every shot imaginable can be replicated. On the course ,each hole is beautifully carved out of the woods and you rarely see another hole than the one you are playing. We played in 3hrs and 45 minutes. The condition was excellent,- fairways and greens were sensational even though there was aeration marks from a week ago in some of the greens.. They ran true, I rank this course with the Plainfield, Baltrustrol, Ridgewood etc. - a great day of golf and a course that should be on the must play list.

Best course in the Monmouth/Ocean County area.

Metedeconk National is a 27 hole Robert Trent Jones Sr. private facility. The 1st/3rd nine rotation is considered the championship course. Each nine has uphill, downhill and dogleg and water holes to keep you on your toes. Once you make it to the green, you will find quick, undulating putting services. In actuality, all 3 nines are top quality. In addition, the practice facility is the finest in the state.

Great feature, but why promote a course as your “course of the week”, that 99% of recreational golfers will never be able to access.

I can’t understand why courses like this cannot be more accommodating with “member for a day” programs like top clubs in the UK (Muirfield etc) offer to visiting golfers
