Drought
Course is dry. Grass is dying. Greens are very short and fast.
The course is very challenging!
BAD
Dont be fooled by the name "Breezy Point" in front of the course name. Course was short and not kept well. Pace of play was atrocious. Two groups waiting at every tee box. This course was worse than the worst municipal course in the Twin Cities Metro.
Watch out for thieves!
You would think at a quality named resort, they would hire honorable rangers. I hit a ball to the left of the green. I went to where my wife hit her ball. She hit to the right side of green. As we drive up I see the golf ranger coming around from the left side of the green and drive around to the right side towards where my wife hit her shot. He turns and see us coming towards him and he drives away. I drop her off and I go to look for my ball. It’s not there! I did not see him pick it up but the way he looked at her ball and then just took off when we came up makes me very suspicious. After the round I was informed at the desk, that the ranger I described had been known to take balls. Knowledge of this type of activity by this person should not be just Oh Well! That’s what he does. I will not golf this course again and advise others to stay away!
Fire him or if he works for free green fees (and stolen golf balls) is he worth losing paying customers?
disappointed
The staff including clubhouse and starter we’re very unfriendly It was 85° and only saw a bar cart one time. There were no signs to direct you where your next hole was We are seasoned golfers and usually typically know where to find the next hole For a resort course we are expecting better service
Just fun
Very courteous staff, fun layout, very family friendly course, just a fun day
Breezy Point Stay
We stayed in a timeshare at Breezy Point so we played here the first day. Got a hot deal on golf now. I don't think I would pay full price to play here. Par 68 so it good for my wife to play. Front 9 is pretty open and relatively short. Back is longer and very tight. Greens were a little slower than I'm used to but the course was in good shape. The resort has an all inclusive option so there were a lot of people drinking as part of the package. We caught up to a couple of 5 somes towards the end otherwise the pace of play was great.

A fun course that looks easier than what it is---some tricky green, some narrow fairways, some very hilly lies.
Alright
Greens were on the furry side. Tight wooded fairways at times. Value was great because of the
Hot Deal I got. Most Brainerd Lakes resort courses offer no discounts except twilight rates.
So the Traditional is one of the few courses
that offer a significant discount via a internet
golf website.
Avoid at all cost!!
Did not know this was an executive course until I showed up. Several greens were absolutely terrible. Almost worse was the pace of play. Took us almost 3 hrs to play front nine.
Would have preferred to be at the dentist for a root canal!
Old course needs updates
Closer to an executive course and really narrow. A lot of doglegs and you don't know distance to corner. Over drove fairway, I should of used irons. Not that impressed.
