Kingsbury National fka Kingswood is a great value
The course was bought by new Owner last year Derik Buck and the general manager is Adam Luaces. they are doing a great job. Both were onsite when we finished. They did a major renovation on the bunkers, which played nicely.
Fairways, tees and greens were great shape. Greens rolled true. Rough needed a little attention but wasn't bad with all the rain we had this spring/summer.
The outside pavilion and outside eatery area looked clean and neat. The clubhouse seemed renovated with a beautiful bar and restaurant area. Food was great, prices were even greater. I highly recommend that part of the facility, I was impressed at the changes these guys have made in a short period.
I played this course when it opened about 25 years ago and it was nice then, watched conditions deteriorate over the years but now it is well worth a round of golf there. Then new owner and management are doing a great job.
Disappointed
I have played this course many, many times over the past two years as part of a special membership drive that was conducted in 2015.
The course has recently announced that it is being sold and the new owners are not honoring the multi-year membership agreement that I have paid for. In fact, they are choosing to offer only a $100 discount on a new membership and ignoring the money I paid for a membership that was not to expire until December 2018.
It is disappointing when a business chooses to punish their customers.
I have many other options on where to play and will be exercising them once the new ownership takes over. They have mad the choice to get none of my business instead of their fair share of it.
Great midweek outing
Course was in good condition, relatively empty and I got right out. Nice surprise that GolfNow rate of $25 included the cart!
Slow play
Had to wait 30 minutes past tee time. Really slow play .
Nice layout
The course was in good shape. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would play here again. Downside: no bathrooms on the course. Not a big deal for men, but most ladies won't go into the woods. Even a portable one would have been better than nothing.
Nice Course for price paid
Overall I gave the course a 3 star rating. The tees, fairways, and greens were very good. The rough was generally overgrown and the hard baked traps were almost unplayable. However playing golf with friends and brothers on a great weather day was most enjoyable. This course is worth the time, distance, and price paid.
deal from golfnow
Decent condition, keep in mind the carts are to be returned by 8 pm. Anything after 5 t time you won't make it.
Course is challenging but won't have you swearing and not wanting to play again. If your going to play this course I recommend getting a deal thru golf now.
Fun course!
Track is nice. Keep up well. Staff is friendly. Lay out is challenging, but not overwhelming. I would recommend to anyone looking for a challenging & scenic course.
The course needs work
I have played this course years ago and it's in the same condition except cart paths are worse.
I like the course layout but pace of play was terrible so it was not an enjoyable round
avoid
The course is very scenic and in great shape. We've played this many times in the past, it's consistently in good condition. However, there was an outing going on, play was slow in front of us. The group behind us, who are members, continued to hit into us, as one point flying over our heads by 25 yards, when they clearly knew we were there. They had the ranger come along and instruct us to pick up the pace of play, despite the fact that we were waiting on almost every shot. Tried to speak with the general manager, in person and by email, did not hear back. Unlikely to spend our money at Kingswood again any time soon.

Needs WATERING and a RANGER DESPERATELY!!!
Saw a Guy playing in a TANK TOP.... CLASSY. Pace of play and conditions will deter a lot of greens fee payers.
fix the bunkers
i love this coarse but come on fix the bunkers .hard crust is no fun try raking them hard when there dry ????
great value
Got a great price on golfnow. Course in good shape but can see they're cutting back here and there. No keys in carts, no cart attendant, no starter. Just get up on #1 and hit away. All in all, a good day.
This course is open for long wild hitters.
I would recommend this course to any type of golfer. It's in really good shape, greens are true line and speed.

Funky Holes - Needs Work
Greens are fast but "hard". Traps are raked dirt. Fairways are very good on some holes and abused on others. Looks like they have a very limited maintenance budget and few staff. Course offers reasonable rates but you may encounter 4-5 hour rounds when busy - no on course starter or ranger.
Good course
It's a nice course I like it the greens and the fare ways are fast makes it even shorter than what the yardage is I would recommend this to a friend.
Great course!
Nice greens and fairways. Professionally raked bunkers. Beautiful scenery. Definitely one of my favorite courses.
decent course for area
First, bring your own water...none on the course. parts of most of the fairways were in need of repairs. Greens were good.
Slow, slow, slow
Wife and I were in the area and were looking for a place to play. The good reviews and low price convinced us to play here. We were disappointed. While the greens were very nice, the layout was relatively flat and without much definition. Pace of play was so slow we quit after nine holes.
