Island Lake Golf & Training Center

I'm new to golf and have only played at 4 different courses but this is by far the cleanest of them. No goose mess to watch out for or horribly torn up tee boxes.
The driving range has been an excellent way for me to figure out how to swing before venturing out onto a course.
The staff is always very friendly and helpful.
The course itself is great for getting to know your irons with an average hole distance around 120 yards. Hole 7 and 8 add the challenge of going over water. Then they throw in a 244 yard hole with water on both sides of the green at hole 9 to see if you're paying attention.
Overall good fun for a beginner like me.

I’m a beginner but I played this course less than three hours. Tee time was at 6:30am and golf shop was not open so I was clueless until I spoke to a local from the area and informed me to go ahead and play and play after but I already had paid. But overall it’s definitely a great beginner course. It has a huge driving range. Great for kids as well learning the game.

Went out and golfed this course in the morning, ended up getting delayed about an hour due to frost. The golf shop employees were more than accommodating, even gave me a free bucket of balls to hit on their range while waiting. The range was amazing, had quite a few targets and one of the nicer layouts I've seen. The course conditions were a bit wet, but you could tell that the course takes pride in their maintenance of the greens and approaches, overall had a great time and well worth the money.

It was a very nice quick 9 hole 3 par course and the driving range was top notch on how wide open it was with bays.

1145 tee time and finished at 230... very slow when busy.

Had 7:30am tee time on 10/14/23. Got there at 7:15am and no one was I. The office to check me in. Waited till 8am and still no show. Had to call GolfNow to cancel my reservation and refund.

Fun little course. The greens and approaches were green and in good shape.
