The Cascade at Gold Mountain Golf Course

Ok, played Cascade course mostly…have a punch card for the year…Olympic course played once…a bit challenging for me…maybe next year again. Great driving range, putting greens…overall a favorite!

Gold mountain is in its own class when it comes to municipal course in the area.

6.5 hours to play on Olympic! No marshal, no help at all from pro-shop staff, and no response from any management staff. I never have seen 4 groups on a par 4 backed up with not a care from the pro-shop. I have worked in the golf industry, so this made things even more frustrating. I have waited 3 weeks to post this review. I have several emails and a couple phone calls into the golf operations manager to date. Our golf group has lost all respect for this place. They could care less about you or the golf experience, they just want your money.

Played the Cascade in mid June and had perfect weather. Was paired with 3 locals who were members and gave me some good tips about how to get around the course. Its a fun track to play, but I wasn't big on the 2 or 3 holes that have blind shots. The tee times are too close together at 8 mins apart. There was a logjam at the 1st tee waiting on slower players. Times should be 12 mins apart. Didn't take away from my round though. Its a good course at a great price.

From start to finish the Cascade Course at Gold Mountain was fantastic. The staff was amazing. The course was prime. This was my first time on the Cascade course. Golfed the Olympic a few years ago. I can not wait to get back out and check it out again. Freaking amazing place. A must see on vacation. Local what ever....Great course.

The course is in great shape! We couldn't have played much faster and the weather was perfect. I only wish I had time to golf both courses.

We played in 80 degree weather in APRIL! The greens were perfect and very fast, the fairways were dry and perfect as well. This is a great course in great shape. Unfortunately 80 degree days bring out every golfer in the state, plus there was some type of tournament on the Olympic course, so everyone else was on the Cascade. Unfortunately we started at 1:15, played the front 9 in 3 hours :o( and had to leave to catch a ferry before we finished number 16. Anyway, I would still recommend this course, it's a great one. There did seem to be some confusion with golf now reservations but they accommodated us.

Started out a dreary, drizzly day. Even with the amount of rain that had fallen recently, the course was in great shape! Then on the back nine when the sun started peaking through, it was amazing how quickly the course dried out and the greens rolled much better!! Cant wait to come back during the summer months and play another!

This course provides plenty of challenge and also some birdie opportunities. Some of the par 4s are lengthy but there are plenty of chances to score. Great scenery and conditions are a fine combination.

Overall a great round of golf on a great course. Greens could use some TLC, and there are lots of little branches all over the course that should be removed. Other than that the course was in great condition. Despite the weather being at 70F and sunny, there was no beverage cart driving around, which would have been nice with the slow pace of play.

Been doing a lot of golf this winter and the Gold mountain course (Cascade) was in perfect condition despite the wet weather we’ve had. Greens were true and the entire course was amazing! Absolutely recommend this course 100 percent! Great job to the staff.

Cold day, frozen & temporary greens , but great fun with friends!

Great day at the Csacade course, played in 3 hrs 45 mins. Greens had been sanded, but where playable, sun was out fairways were in good shape.
