This was my second round at Tam. The course was in excellent condition, not crowded and we took a leisurely 4 hours with my playing partner. This is a hidden gem on Long Island as a formerly private course is no open to public play
Hendricks Field Golf Course

This was a nice easy layout. Played the renovated back nine in two hours. Reachable par 4 and par three gave me score of 43. Pace of play was fine without waiting on every hole. I will come back when the front nine is completed

good layout with challenging holes. I have played BP about 8 to 10 times over 20 years. conditions have improved. the fairways were drenched do to heavy rain combined with low water table 30+ mph winds also. walked off after 9 holes will return in June when course is dry and not windy. good value for hot deals

I played Middle Bay twice before. The course conditions were excellent and the greens were perfect. The temperature was mid 90's but the breeze from the great bay made the playing conditions acceptable.
I hit off the red tees and was able to reach the majority of the holes in regulation (not necessarily on the green) The staff was excellent and provided quality service.The only negative is that the walk from the parking lot to the pro shop was long. Perhaps they could provide a golf cart to facilitate this condition. Golf Now offers chances to play great course at a reasonable rate.
Heatherwood Golf Club

Heatherwood was my 144th course lifetime. Good condition with a flat front nine and hilly back nine. Course conditioning could be better. Nice layout and staff was cordial and professional.
Lido Golf Club

I started playing Lido Beach around 30 years ago. One of the best layouts on Long Island with wind and water coming into every shot. I stopped playing about 10 years ago due to poor course conditions. Burnt out fairways and poor greens with very little grass and mostly weeds. Booked a Golf Now tee time and was impressed with how the greens keeper was able to renovate the links style course. The fairways and green were acceptable and there was grass on the 13th holdefor the first time in years. I will be sure to come back soon
