The staff, playing partners, and conditions were great.
Fairways are wide and bunkers have high lips.
I HATED the crazy greens. There is so much slope/contour on every green it approaches “miniature golf-like.” I shot 78 and never had flat putt beyond 3 feet.
Thankfully they are not super fast greens.

Very nice, well kept course. Dont play the tips, too tough. 200 yards carries on a windy day (Im a 6). Fast true greens.
Played at 2pm by myself. Had to skip a hole or two to keep moving.

I love to play here. Id be a Member if I lived closer.
Greens were perfect. Few players, played alone.

Played as a Single. Hit 3 balls to stay in between 4 somes.
Tees are ripped up, but greens and fairways are nice.
Interesting layout. Grass showing winter dormancy.
But worth $30.

They have a green problem. Bare spots on most greens. Not good.
Bardmoor and Mangrove Bay greens MUCH better.

Im kicking myself for not playing here sooner. The greens are Bent, roll very true, and fast with slope.
I played the back tees and it was a beast….very windy today which made it even tougher.
Not real tight but a good challenge.
Ill be back and I may move up one set of tees.
One hint. All the greens slope back to front. Get those chips shots back to the hole, they stop quickly.

Course is in good shape and everything about the experience is top notch. Waterlefe and Rosedale are the best 2 local courses. The only complain, very minor, is that the grass on the greens is “shaggy”. They are smooth and run true, but are different than any other local course. Takes a bit to adjust to.

The course is in good shape. But the greens are PGA professional fast. A few holes “local course knowledge” helps a lot...dog legs with trees in the bends and blind water hazards. Enjoyable. Get a good deal on Tee Up and play.

Love this course. Best in the area. Get a rate under $50 and grab it.

Not cheap, usually, but worth the extra $$$s. ALWAYS one of my favorites. (and Rosedale).

Everyone was friendly and the course was in good shape. But the layout is “just your average muni.” Almost no trees, no terrain, nothing notable.....BORING. Play Mangrove Bay instead and save yourself the $$$ and drive time.

The course had been recently overseeded. Nice fairways. But many of the greens were in poor shape. The 1st hole green was nearly unplayable. Dont drive any distance to play here.

Always love to play here. You will not score low, (trouble everywhere) but you will enjoy it.

Try Country Club feel throughout. Fair layout for all skill levels. Water is in play a lot, keep it on the course.

Teed off about 830 on a weekday. . Maybe 10 cars in the parking lot. Played solo and only saw maybe 4 groups on the whole course. Course was in great shape and worth playing. The back 9 holes around the quarry are most memorable. Out of the way, but worth the effort to play the course.

This IS my favorite course in the area. But it is dried out right now. I’d wait till we get some rain and then spend the extra money for a treat.

Course is in poor condition right now. $12 is OK, but dont pay more than $20.

Not a bad deal for $22,but the greens are heavily sanded. So don’t expect to make too many putts. Overall the rest of the course is good.

I make the 1hour drive to play here once a year. During the week, in the Fall, the course is almost all yours. Fast greens and beautiful views. Not many trees, but lots of slope and long Par 3s.
