This was my third time playing the Heron course. Greens are faster than most in the area and roll true. Some tee boxes were a little rugged, but overall an enjoyable round. My only complaint is that as a US visitor, this is the only course I’ve played in Ontario (and I’ve played most) where I can’t enter a score into the USGA handicap system or get a course adjusted handicap. Not really an issue I suppose.

Interesting course. Disappointed greens had been recently punched (who does that in July). Enjoyed the round and would play again.

Nice course in great shape. Good challenge, but fair and fun to play. Easily walked. Will play again.

This is one of my favorite courses ANYWHERE. Fantastic scenery, wonderful service and one of the most spectacular view holes (#17) you’ll ever play. I always stop here to golf when driving to Cabo.

Right now, they’re struggling to recover some fairways. Greens are great, but some fairways are a bit thin. Fully covered, but still growing back. Even so, it’s such a hidden gem I’d play it in these conditions and be happy.. I’ve heard it may go private so play while you can.You won’t regret it!

This is a solid public course. Although play was slow, multiple groups allowed me to play through as a single before I joined up with a twosome at the turn. Nobody seems to fix their ball marks on the greens and the latter were a bit slow, but I’d play the course again for the price and layout.

I really like this course. Fun holes, great views and in terrific shape. Pace of play was quick easy sub-4 hours. I played twice now in low/no wind conditions and enjoyed it. It’s not super tough, but who cares…..on my list to play every time when visiting.

Staff here were nice and clubhouse was great, but the course is in awful condition. Bunkers unplayable with fairways patchy and hard as a rock. Greens are ok….but the fairways, sheesh!

This is a nice course with good scenery. You’re not supposed to be in them, but the sand traps are really awful for the price charged. I found pace of play at 4:50 to be slow and we waited at several points. I’d play the course again, but not for price I paid.

This course is a nice value compared to many in area. Course is in good shape and pace of play was OK. I will play many times again.

I have played many courses in the area over the years, but struggled to get a tee time here. It was worth the wait. This is my new favorite course anywhere. It's a beautiful layout in great condition and played at a good pace (marshals were vigilant in ensuring people kept up). Lots of water so not for the fainthearted, but I will definitely play this course whenever I can get on!

This is a nice fairly easy course with good views and great pace of play. Never felt held up and never pressed. Good practice facility, but clubhouse ambiance simply not up to the standard of many in the valley, Enjoy a post-round beer and snack somewhere else.

Have played this course several times over the years. I have always found it to be in really good condition and play fairly quickly. It is not a tough course by any stretch of the imagination. There is not much water, no long carries or trees and bunkers are reasonable. Of course it's helpful to hit it straight, but wild hitters will still find their shots generally playable. It's a nice relaxing round with good mountain views, a pleasant club house and nice practice facility.

The course was in generally great shape except for the sand traps which were in generally terrible condition....many were so thin it was impossible to get a club under the ball. I guess you could argue you’re not supposed to be in the traps and in some cases balls would land in traps and jump out (no complaints on those haha). The course was otherwise in great shape from tee to green. Only complaint was slow play, but that seemed due to an early tourney. To his credit, pro rode around course apologizing for pace and assuring it would pick up once tourney groups finished. It did. Would play here again although it is a long drive from the west side.

I last played this course over 10 years ago. It has matured nicely. Course today was in nice shape from tee to green. Sand in sand traps was not good, but you’re not supposed to be in them I guess! Pace of play was a bit slow (we generally waited a little bit at each tee box, but marshals were present and encouraging maintaining pace of play throughout the round. I will play this course again I’m the next few days.

I played this course a few years ago and enjoyed it. Not today. Greens were good, but fairways were not in great shape and bunkers were ridiculous. OK, you’re not supposed to be in them, but when you are, it would be nice if they weren’t the condition of a sandlot baseball field. I don’t believe this course is a good value for money and know there are much better options in the area. Will not play here again without hearing of improvements.

This was my third time playing this course in the past week. I think this is one of the best courses in Baja including the many I've played in Cabo. Spectacular views on nearly every hole and #17 is every bit as special as any ocean course anywhere. The pace of play was fantastic, conditions were great and the staff totally helpful. This is a new course and the clubhouse/pro shop has a bit of a temporary feel to it, but the food was good and if you want something more you can go to the 5 star hotel by golf cart. Would play again and again, but gotta go home!

OK, I played a terrible round, but this course is not in good shape at all from rough tee boxes to bare spots on the fairways. The greens were generally ok, but I'd prefer to pay more money (the condition was that of an inexpensive muni anywhere outside of Florida) and get better conditions. There are better albeit more expensive options around.
