Nothing better in the Caribbean. Played great courses in Jamaica, Cancun, Bermuda and none compares to this. About 1/2 the holes are on the Caribbean, the other have are beautifully carved out of the sandstone and hills making this course visually incredible. Was fortunate to be a single with my caddie. We finished 27 holes in less than 3 hours. Pay the fee go play it - worth every penny. it's the Pebble of the Caribbean better than Teeth of the Dog or Dye Fore

I love to play Royce Brook East. As far as public golf is concerned its one of the top courses in NJ. The fairways are wide but the greens complexes can be tough. That's what makes this layout enjoyable to play. Green speeds are moderate to faster - not anywhere near the sister West course which has very quick greens but good.
My only complaint if there is one is price. At $110 per round on a Saturday a.m., it's really expensive. Not the quality of a Ballyowen ($140) or Architects ($95) so it's hard to justify their higher greens fees, but overall it's a very good track. If they were priced at $75 I would easily rate 5 stars.
