Arizona Golf Resorts

Thanks to warm temperatures and scenic desert courses, Arizona might be the winter golf capital of America. The Valley of the Sun in Phoenix/Scottsdale attracts snowbirds looking to escape the snow for a season. Summers can be hot, but it's a good time for locals - or anybody, really - to play Top-100 caliber resort courses at a discount. There are so many strong 36-hole resorts - Troon North (Four Seasons), We-Ko-Pa, The Boulders, Camelback, Gold Canyon, Talking Stick, TPC Scottsdale (Fairmont Princess), Wildfire Golf Club (JW Marriott), Arizona Biltmore (Waldorf-Astoria) - that it's hard to choose. The 54-hole Wigwam is actually the largest golf resort in the state.
