Wisconsin Golf Resorts

Wisconsin has emerged with perhaps the finest collection of golf resorts in the Midwest. Only a handful of states can boast two different resorts that have hosted a major championship - the 2017 U.S. Open at Erin Hills and multiple PGA Championships on Whistling Straits at the American Club in Kohler. With four Pete Dye courses and a AAA Five-Diamond hotel, the American Club reigns supreme as the region's most luxurious golf resort. The addition of Sand Valley - which has added three courses since 2017 - has bolstered the state's allure. While the Wisconsin Dells might be known for its waterparks, it is also home to multiple golf resorts: The Wilderness, Chula Vista and Christmas Mountain Village. Similarly, Lake Geneva attracts city slickers from Milwaukee and Chicago with a trio of large lakes, but there's plenty of golf, too, between the 36-hole Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, the 54-hole Geneva National Resort & Club and the 18-hole Lake Lawn Resort.
