Fun course
These guys are running a great spot here. We brought our 8 year old and they gave us the four seater golf cart, which was awesome. The course layout was fun and a little challenging. I would have preferred a little more direction on where to go and what hole I was aiming at. I hit the wrong green once and we went the wrong way on the course and missed a hole because of it. However, this will not keep me from going back. Great place to get a little iron work in.
Really can't wait to go back.
I really enjoyed this course. Fun track with lots of opportunity to play test your skills. It's not long, so lots of iron play, which was fun. Two tee box options (short, and shorter), so you really don't have worry about bringing a full bag. The wind and the course layout make this more challenging than other courses. I really wanted to rate this course low so nobody would play it and it would be my little secret, but I can't keep these guys from succeeding.
They did have some issue syncing up with GolfNow, however, they saw my email and accepted it. I told them I had an extra rider and they gave us the 4 seater cart!! More fun than a barrel of monkeys!!
I am a solid high 80s/low 90s guy and my son (who is 8 years old) both played from the back tees and shot as you might expect. Course was SUPER wet thanks to the rain lately, but we still had a blast.
Showing great improvements!
New company that took it over is really putting in the work here! It’s not there yet but it still is an awesome par 3 course. Saw grounds crews out there working on the course and the manager checking the course. Greens are a million times better than they were and rolled pretty good. I can’t wait to see it in the spring!
Great Improvements!
I haven’t played this course since Apr 2023. First time back since new ownership and GM took over. It is in great shape. The greens are great and there are fairways now. This is a par 3 course with one par 4 about 270 from tips. The carts are new with radios and bluetooth. The clubhouse looks great and has a large TV for football and golf.
This is a tough little course…hole 1&2 are the easy ones with everything else over water. It is also great for new golfers because it has a practice area and a driving range.
Great for getting your iron shots dialed in.
Highly recommend! I can’t wait to see what it looks like next spring.
Great course
Great course. Nice facilities and people. Nobody rushing you to play. Felt comfortable even though it’s been awhile since I’ve played. Definitely going back
Nine stars for Texas 9!
My first time playing at Texas 9, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Don’t take the course at face value because every hole has opportunities to be played differently than the scorecard suggests. I played a few of the holes as par fours from various T boxes to different whole locations. It wasn’t busy so I could hit the ball from spots that were not designated as T boxes, I have to say I had an amazing time playing and practicing. If I could I would give it 9 Stars! Definitely look forward to doing it again! Oh, and the clubhouse staff couldn’t have been friendlier!!
Issue a hammer
The tee blocks are so hard you need to carry a hammer with you. Do you water them at all?
The Staff was very friendly and the place was very clean and very well maintained.. Really enjoyed the place plus the golf carts very nice ....
Great Course
I was skeptic about playing my first 9 hole course but I was impressed with the layout...6 par 3 holes and 3 par 4's . Josh was amazing and made me feel welcomed as his professionalism and friendly attitude attitude made me feel like a member!! Because of him, I'll DEFINITELY be back!!!
Texas 9 fun.
This is a very nice 9 hole par 3. Most holes have water and fairly narrow fairways. Greens are fairly small which adds to the experience. I had a great time. Highly recommend this for all level of players.
Great par 3 course!
Love the course layout. It was challenging but not too difficult. Most holes require you to hit over water, bushes or trees. I would say the course is more for the intermediate player.
Fun course
Course is challenging and fun. You have to be accurate. Greens are being improved. Overall good time.
Fun course.
Fun course, the greens were just punched and sanded, but the fairways are being improved. Overall a good value I played the course with my son and had a real good time.
Great Course
Josh and his staff have this 9 hole course ready for every type of player. Great equipment, nice facility, fantastic course!!
Texas 9 - wow!
This course has really bounced back from the drought we had this summer. The greens are looking beautiful! Love all the recent improvements to the clubhouse too and the awesome golf carts make it extra fun to play this course. I love that we have a fun and challenging 9-hole course in DFW. The best part about this place though is the friendly staff. We play at least a few times a month and Josh Stuckey, the GM, always says hello when he sees us and makes sure we are taken care of and have a great time. This place is a gem in DFW.
Great 9 holes!
Great course that is on its way to being an amazing course! Staff is extremely helpful and friendly! Very fun course!
Texas 9
I was a bit disappointed. It was rated with 4 + stars, but it was not in nearly as good a condition, as I think 4+ stars deserves.
Though it's new, and only a 9 hole course, I thought the holes would be much longer. The longest hole is 200 yards, with 1 hole being as short as 75 yards, and the average length of the rest of the hole around 120-140 yards.
They do have brand new, state-of-the-art gold carts, with radios and blue tooth technology. Each cart also has a speedometer, and turn signals. Most of the cart amenities do not mean anything to me. I don't listen to the radio while I play golf, and I don't see the need for turn signals on any golf course. So the carts do not make up for the "easiness" of the course.
I thought I would try it just to see what this new course was like- even though it was almost 40 miles away from where I live. The price was cheap- so at least I would know what I was in for if I ever played it again.
Incredible 9 Hole, Par 3!
I played this last week when I had other plans that fell through. I've never played a par 3 before, but I was extremely impressed by the staff and course as a whole. The holes were well maintained and was pretty from 1 to 9. The staff was super helpful explaining to me where the course started and what tips/ tricks they had. One of their staff members drove around in one of the carts and would just chat with you if you had time. I felt welcome and like everybody was having fun being there. The carts are top notch with Bluetooth, turn signals, mirrors, and everything you could think of.
I only went by myself, so the course went quick (sub 1 1/2 hr) but it would be a great place to get your buddies together at on a work afternoon or early weekend morning when you want to squeeze in a round without having to go to a full 18 hole course. I will definitely come on back, and was grateful for the experience!
