Diamond Hill Golf & Country Club
About
Diamond Hill Golf & Country Club in Dover, Florida stretches over rolling hills where there is no shortage of water. Dry greens are never a concern as water hazards come into play frequently throughout the golf course. The greens vary in speed from medium to fast and the fairways are lined with towering trees. In addition to the water, there are also numerous bunkers that are strategically placed throughout. The golf course has some challenging par 3s, especially if it is a windy day. With several holes playing over water and a few houses close to the golf course, well placed tee shots are essential to scoring well at Diamond Hill.

Good layout!
This course has a very interesting layout and fun to play . The greens are rolling well between 8.5 to 10. There is quite a bit of crab grass on some of the greens and a couple of fairways on the back 9 are very thin ( no grass). Overall a fun course , not much of a clubhouse.
Nice Layout
Man, I enjoyed playing at Diamond Hills today. The is in great shape. The greens where running around 12 and you have some challenging left to right and right to left shot..A good course to play.
We're glad you enjoyed your round today. Thanks for your business and we hope to see you back out again soon!
Great layout
Fun course. Love the layout and elevation changes.
Glad you enjoyed it! We'd love to have you out again soon to play another round!
They've let this course go...
I used to live less than 2 miles from this course and would play it once a week about two years ago. It was always not in the best shape, but it was at least good value for the money.
Now, it's SO overgrown, the rough is unplayable, the lawn clippings are everywhere and make it impossible to find any balls not directly in the fairway. Expect to lose 3-4 balls unnecessarily and also lose 3-4 strokes due to poor course management.
It's been rainy everywhere the last few months yet this is the worst upkeep Ive seen.
Thank you for your feedback. We've been working hard throughout this abnormally rainy season to get the course back into good playable shape. The rough has recently dried out enough to mow to a normal length, and while the course is still wet in some areas, we feel there a noticeable improvement. We'd like to invite you back out to play a complimentary round. Just email pga@diamondhillclubs.com with your name and when you'd like to play. Thank you
Course Pace
The rangers were not on the course monitoring 1 group of 6 players, 4 men 2 women, it took 3 1/2 hours to play the front 9. Bad decision on the golf club.
Disappointing
I must say I was disappointed. I was here a couple of years ago and found the course in good shape. Most of the other courses I play have benefited from the rains and look lush. The fairways here were VERY spotty and at best average in many spots. Other spots were terrible. Most traps had little or no sand at all. The greens are super fast, which I like, but that was because they were very thin and had lots of bad areas with no grass at all. I do like the elevation changes here, and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately they have no marshal, so one foursome had backed up 4 holes behind them because of their slow play. I recommend the course, but they really need to improve it.
Wet
The course was very wet and the fairways were not in good condition. The greens needed work to, a lot of weeds in them but rolled alright.
Pretentious
Granted, we've had a lot of rain. So cart path/rough only and flooded fairways and bunkers...In the best of conditions this is an average track. They were way overpriced for the conditions of the course.
Challenging but fair course
My group of 4 enjoyed our Father's Day outing very much. The weather was warm but almost perfect, and the course was in good shape, except for certain fairways which probably do not have irrigation. Staff is friendly and start groups on time or earlier. All in all, a nice course and staff.
Thank you for your feedback! We have been working towards having proper irrigation for the course. We're glad you enjoyed your time playing and we hope to see you again :)

Rolling Terrain
The course has its ups and downs, and I mean that humorously. The course has elevations, inclines and rises, fun getting familiar with how to strike an uphill, side slant or downhill. After such a heavy use by the Winter snowbirds the greens will need some TLC is all.
Thanks for your feedback, we appreciate it! We certainly enjoy the elevation in the course as well and plan on keeping it that way. We have identified the stress that the greens have been under and are working towards making them larger and improving their condition. Thanks again for coming, hope to see you shortly! :)
