Timber Greens Country Club

I have played at Timber Greens in the past couple of months as much as any other course on the north side. Since I live on the north end of Pinellas County I often venture into Pasco and North Tampa to get a variety of play. Timber's greens are large, contoured and in great shape. The course handles water drainage, with a couple of exceptions, very well. It is a short course but with some interesting hole layouts. It's fun to play from the back tees or the whites (without your driver). Clubhouse is great and staff is friendly. There is a lot of member play, particularly in the morning, that can slow the pace. It's in a 55+ community so a lot of seniors and couples play. Just be patient and prepared or book an afternoon tee time.

Lots of water on the back nine. Requires some shot makeing. Best greens in the area. Staff very friendly. Great layout for the avarage player.

From the moment myself and my golf partner walked in we got the feeling the staff wanted us out of there and off the course as quickly as possible. Pro shop staff was very dismissive from the moment we walked in, however the ranger and 19th hole staff were friendly and cordial.

As far as the course goes, it was fairly short even from the championship tees I could easily reach every hole in 2 with solid shots. Overall a good design and a decent challenge for what it was. I would play here again if I didn't have to visit the pro shop.

The course was a great course it was still a little wet but still had a great time greens are nice the only thing is there is no driving range there is a warm up net lol.

Course was really wet but we have been getting alot of rain. Short course but challenging.

Every part of this course was outstanding. The greens were receptive and rolled very true. The green speeds were fast, but not table top. The fairways were perfect with good draining. Even the tee boxes were in perfect condition. It was obvious that the greens keeper and maintenance crew took great pride in the care of this course.

Fairways, greens and bunkers were meticulously maintained. It was a real pleasure playing this course and I look forward to the next time that I am able to do so. I will bring my friends from "up north."

Most of the courses in this area are still waterlogged and their greens have been aireated and fairly rough.

It was the first time we played there. The weather has made the course very wet,,, but when it dries out it will be great,, we will definitely play there again.... we were on a 3.5 hour pace until a foursome in front slowed a line of us down...

The fairways were in beautiful condition. The greens were very well maintained. Would definitely play there again!!!

The conditions were expectedly wet but the course did not suffer for it. The greens were well maintained, but a little slow. No bare patches on the course. Have not played the course in over 10 years, but it was better then I remembered it.

First time playing this course was impressed from tee to green a real gem will play again..

Challenging, a lot of water, will play again, great. Careful surprise 18 hole!!!!!

THe greens and fairways were in good condition despite lots of rain during the week prior. The course played in under 4 hours.

You will not be disappointed - unless you wanted to shoot par. This is one of the best courses in Tamp Bay.

The course was in great condition. Every hole has it's own uniqueness. Very fun to play.

This course is in pretty good shape and the greens are healthy, there just really slow because alot of the members are 55+..... short course, good for practicing irons and short game

This course is one of the nicest courses I have ever played. The staff and crew were extremely polite. The greens were some of the most beautiful I have ever seen and fast. The staff apologized for the condition which shocked me since I told them that it was one of the most beautiful courses that I have ever played. I would be almost scared to see it when they consider it pristine. If you are ever in the area don't miss this one.

I have never seen greens this good.....PERIOD !!! The rest of the course is excellent ! As old Tom would say ....GO PLAY !
